STEVE PRICE

Steve grew up on the northern beaches of Sydney, and he goes for the Manly Sea Eagles! He’s studied environmental science, teaching and theology. Steve is married to Amy, and they’ve got two kids, Jacob and Becky.

Steve became a Christian when he was in year 12 in high school and he’s still amazed by the satisfaction that Jesus offers for those who trust in him. Steve is the head chaplain at Calrossy Anglican school, where he loves talking to people about Jesus and encouraging those who already know Jesus to follow him even more passionately.

TIM STEVENS

Tim grew up in Sydney and is currently the vicar of St James’ Mungindi and the Youth Encourager for the Anglican Diocese of Armidale. He is married to Kirsty, and they have two young boys, Will & Ed.

Tim loves ministering to young people, and loves nothing more than when young people live with Jesus as their saviour and Lord.

He also enjoys playing football, snowboarding, surfing, skatebording, and many other things that he no longer has the knees for.

SOME HISTORY

Back in the 1950’s, the vicar of Bingara, John Wagstaff wanted to gather the teenagers of the Armidale Diocese for a weekend of fellowship and learning from God’s word.

He asked Graham Delbridge (Youth Director of the Sydney Anglican Diocese) for help, and John Chapman and Allen Quee were sent from Sydney to give him a hand. Over the Easter weekends of 1952 & 1953, young people from over the Diocese camped in a wool shed in Bingara and learnt about Jesus.

We’ve been doing the same thing for the last couple of years, as we’ve gathered from all over the Diocese to learn about following Jesus. It’s great that we were able to do this again in 2018!
